JAMB Extends Deadline for 2021–2025 Outstanding Admission Offers
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has extended the deadline for candidates with outstanding admission offers from the 2021 to 2025 admission exercises to accept or reject their offers on the Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS). The new deadline is November 30, 2026, and affected candidates are advised to log into their CAPS accounts and take the necessary action before the deadline. JAMB warned that admission offers that remain neither accepted nor rejected after the deadline will be reverted to “Not Admitted” on its records, while any subsequent request to update such an admission will attract the applicable penalty fee. Candidates who accept their offers can proceed to print their admission letters, while those who reject them will have their dashboards reverted to “Not Admitted.”
JAMB also clarified that candidates who have moved to another institution or programme may accept their previous admission and subsequently apply for the appropriate correction or deletion. Candidates who have been offered admission in the 2026 admission exercise but still have earlier offers pending may reject the previous offers without affecting their 2026 admission. The Board has urged all affected candidates not to wait until the last minute but to log into their CAPS accounts and make a decision before the November 30, 2026 deadline.
