The management of Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has officially announced the commencement of the Post-UTME application and screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. This notice is for all UTME and Direct Entry candidates who chose EBSU as their first choice and for those willing to change to EBSU as their preferred institution.
Application Timeline
Start Date: July 14, 2025
Deadline: August 14, 2025
Application Fee
N2,000 (non-refundable) to be paid online or at any commercial bank.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must:
Have scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME.
Have chosen EBSU as their first choice or be willing to change to EBSU.
Upload their O’Level results on both the EBSU portal and the JAMB portal.
Awaiting results (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB 2025) are eligible to apply.
Ensure name consistency across all documents to avoid disqualification.
Not appear physically, as the screening is fully online.

How to Apply for EBSU Post-UTME 2025/2026
Visit the EBSU Post-UTME Portal.
Click on “Online Application Forms” from the quick menu.
Choose UTME or Direct Entry Application Form.
Enter your JAMB Registration Number and click Login.
Generate your payment invoice.
Pay N2,000 at any commercial bank or online with a debit card.
Return to the portal to complete the application form.
Use a valid personal email and phone number.

Important Notes for All Applicants
Admission must be accepted within 4 weeks of offer or it will be withdrawn.
Predegree candidates will be admitted based on the average of UTME and Predegree scores.
Direct Entry applicants must ensure their institutions verify their A’level results on the JAMB portal.
