JAMB ACTIVATES PORTAL FOR UPLOADING OF O’LEVEL RESULTS FOR 2026 ADMISSION
The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has officially activated the portal for the uploading of O’Level results for candidates seeking admission into tertiary institutions for the 2026 academic session.
Candidates who used “Awaiting Result (AR)” during their UTME registration are now expected to upload their WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or equivalent O’Level results to the JAMB portal as soon as possible.Uploading your result is a very important step in the admission process. Candidates who fail to upload their O’Level results may not be considered for admission through CAPS, even if they meet the required cut-off mark for their institution or course. The upload can only be done at accredited JAMB CBT centres or approved JAMB offices. Candidates are advised not to delay the process to avoid last-minute issues or disqualification during admission screening.
Why the Upload is Important
JAMB and tertiary institutions use the uploaded O’Level results to verify candidates’ qualifications before offering admission. Without a properly uploaded result, your admission status may remain pending.
Candidates should also ensure that:
✓Their names match across all documents.
✓The grades uploaded are correct.
✓They confirm the upload was successful before leaving the CBT centre.
