EBSU Begins 2026/2027 Post-UTME and Direct Entry Screening Registration.

Ebonyi State University (EBSU) has officially commenced the sale of its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening forms for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The university invites candidates who selected EBSU as their first choice institution in the 2026 UTME and scored a minimum of 150 to apply for the screening exercise. Candidates who did not initially choose the institution but are willing to change to EBSU as their first choice are also eligible to participate in the admission process.

The registration exercise started on May 22, 2026, and is scheduled to close on June 22, 2026. Interested applicants are expected to complete their registration online through the university portal after paying a non-refundable screening fee of ₦2,000.

EBSU also stated that candidates awaiting the release of their WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB results can still apply for the screening exercise. However, applicants must ensure that their names are correctly arranged and consistent across all academic documents, including their O’Level results and JAMB details, as any discrepancy may affect their admission chances.

The institution further clarified that there will be no physical screening for candidates. Admission updates and screening status will instead be communicated through the university portal. Applicants are equally advised to upload their O’Level results both on the EBSU portal and the JAMB CAPS portal before they can be considered for admission.

In addition, candidates who are eventually offered admission must accept the offer on the JAMB CAPS platform within two weeks, as failure to do so may lead to withdrawal of the admission.

To apply, candidates are required to visit the university’s official portal, access the online application section, generate their payment invoice using their JAMB registration number, make payment either online or through approved banks, and then proceed with the completion of the application form. Applicants are also encouraged to use a valid phone number and personal email address during registration to ensure they receive important updates from the university..
