Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu, has officially announced the commencement of its 2026/2027 Post-UTME screening exercise for candidates seeking admission into the institution's regular degree programmes.According to the notice released by the university management, the screening process will be conducted online, and all eligible candidates are required to upload their credentials through the ABSU admission portal and the JAMB portal.
REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY
Candidates who wish to participate in the screening exercise must meet the following conditions:
- Candidates who selected Abia State University as their first or second choice institution in UTME.
- Candidates who did not initially choose ABSU but are willing to change their institution to ABSU.
- Candidates who scored a minimum of 150 in the 2026 UTME.
- Candidates who possess at least five O'Level credit passes in relevant subjects as required for their chosen course of study.
- All Direct Entry candidates.
The university has stated that applicants should upload the following documents:
- UTME Result Slip
- O'Level Results
- Direct Entry qualifications or Degree Certificates (where applicable)
