The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has raised serious concerns over the integrity of some candidates applying for Direct Entry admissions. In a recent revelation, 322 fake A-Level certificates were discovered during routine verification — a strong signal that the board is tightening its screening process to ensure only genuine candidates are admitted.

According to JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, the fraudulent documents were detected through the board’s Advanced Level result verification system, which now partners directly with awarding institutions to authenticate all submitted results.
